Whats the name of the dealer & contact info?OTE="musicmaker, post: 1353918, member: 36754"]I know of a truck dealer that has a lease program. If you have the down payment, payments are in the 1200- 1300 range/ month. Down payments are in the 3500 - 4500 range. Most are 2 year payoffs and a few aree 3 year payoffs. The truck is yours at the end of that time. You can lease it to whomever you want or get your own authority. No percentages just make the payments.[/QUOTE]

A slight correction. Nothing bought in credit is by anyone but the creditor until it's paid off. If you own it? There are no payments. Except for company restrictions? The company lease replaces the bank. The biggest difference is the high as hell intrest rates. In comparison it's like a check cashing payday loan opposed to a bank or credit union loan. Intrest rates ripping your gutts out.

Other than that. The payments still have to be made. Maintance costs are still there. And let's face it. Most of us can't manage money worth a ####.

OOIDA doesn't control what people do. What a dumb statement. I have found them to be a good source of information and services, and they seem to be the only outfit in the country that tries to make things better for drivers.

Stay away from lonely ripoff mountain! I got a truck from them and it only lasted 10 months or so. I had nothing but problems with the truck from day one. I dumped thousands into a truck that was in the shop almost every month. All they'll do for you is move your payment a few days. But, they charge an extra $40 when they do that. So, it's not like they're doing you any favors. Frauds and liers! Don't use them unless you like to be ripped off!

Did you take the truck to get checked out before you signed the sales agreement?
