    Very much so, as well as 17 countries in Europe that I have driven in. How about you?:biggrin_25526: See you your 17 EUROPEAN ( your not the only person on the planet that's has travelled around it ) and raise you AUSTRALIA and NEW ZEALAND + CANADA as for my having driven in , loved the AUTOBAHN in GERMANY and the outback was an experience in itself

    Mine is a 2012...definitely take note of the guys saying that pretty much only Paccar dealers can work the MX. They are the only ones (that I know of) that have the DAVIE software. I guess if it was something obvious anyone could do it but as far as diagnosing a problem it's dealer only. I'm not advocating for the MX at all. I'm just saying it's probably as good a motor as the Cummins which is the other option in a KW. I'm not sure any of the new engines with all the emissions issues are "great".

    Cummins for my application is too heavy
    I am not gonna haul more than 30,000 kg gross ... But SCR is my biggest concern
    Will get the extended warranties to cover it ..

    There should be some lobby (body) to maintain the balance in trucking industry ... I lose thousands of dollars on 2009-10 trucks just for the DPF issues and all the dealerships when I took the unit in ..... Plug in their computer and whatever codes show up they change the parts blindly and sometimes the problems still there ... I've spent 7-8 thousand dollars on my 9 mack and still one mechanic told me to change the DOC & DPF and clean EGR coolers .... My god 10 grand estimate he showed to me and no guarantees how long there won't be any problems ...

    My 2014 volvo not even 80,000 kms pop up SCR signal saying the engine will derate in 60 mins .... Almost 4-5 times in last year but it goes by itself and I took the unit to the Dealership and they say the codes are not active so they can't do anything ....
    I know after warranty it will cost me 4-5 thousands to fix the DPF pump.... I am so sick of dealing with it it looks that all DPF related issues happen only with my trucks

    So I've changed my mind that I'll try peccar lets see how it is
    I hope it will be little different

    I read an article in Landline where CARB executives were stunned by the down time and excessive costs caused by their regulations. They say it is a quality issue. There's just no quality out there. But they are actively looking at ways to regulate quality. So we should all be able to breathe easy at some point - no pun intended.

    Back before DPF days I drove a couple of VNL670's. One an '04 the other an '07. Former Cummins, later VED12. There was always "check ecu" in the dash. Forever flashing up. They ran just fine. I think it would have been abnormal for there to not be constant check lights with a Volvo. But those only had egr so no big deal. Not expensive troublesome DPF or SCR experiments.
