yeah it's full time stuff. the bad thing is you go until the project is over. if you need to see the wife and kids often you won't like it. I really like the work and most of the other hands that i work with but it's pretty demanding/

As far as where to start, maybe Arrow or Keen. Good luck but its probably a area of trucking that is not slow. -
You are right though, they certainly are not mills, but that is how we refer to them locally.
Most are simply wind powered generators, There in Tehachapi, CA there are 2500 of what they windfarm calls windmills. The turbine style generator does not have a 100' propeller. -
ats is only hiring 13 axle drivers now.
