That’s in the 579. In a new KW 880 I was running last year I’ll admit to not remembering (three trucks ago).

Power is 12V. I run everything off the supplied 15A binding post pair:

    1). Uniden 885
    2). 100W RM Italy KL203 amp
3). West Mountain Radio DSP Speaker

    Timin770 Thanks this.

Just move the radio to the center visor. That's where I had to put my Galaxy.

The radio isnt the problem, if I buy the speaker, that is what the problem is and if I have to power it too.

If you hang the radio between the visors then you dont need a $200 speaker.

I see what you are saying. The T680 does already have a built-in external speaker, but I like the idea how this will clean up the audio for the CB. I don't mind paying the extra money for something that works well. I think I maybe one of the few that has the CB on all of the time, and I depend on it.

Its definitely cleaner to keep the radio in the cabinet, and the factory speaker is junk. Good luck with it.

I got carried away in a post on www.wwdx.com in the CB section in re DSP speakers. The rest of the thread you’ll find informative.

You’re speaking from ignorance. Bad habit, as it’s bad advice.

I had Rays CB install heavier gauge power leads to the KL203. And a quick disconnect.

All three devices powered from same line. Spliced together.

I used a HD Wilson power cord from truckstop, with soldered tips to fit binding posts. Splice is behind fuse.
