Want to pull in from greater distance with factory KW mirror mount

    You’ll think it cheap once you try it.

    I had a large car Galaxy 99 setup a few years back as good as anything one might run into. And I was still able to pick up transmissions from farther out than the guys I ran with. Far West Texas.

    Ya, that would be a good start. Although I was thinking smaller radio for mobile, but a new base radio would be good too.

    Naw don't need a peak n tune(usually ends up being peak n ruin) to hear better..All they are doin is turning up rec and with it comes more noise..Hearing is mostly proper ant for trk,quality tested coax and mounting solution..

    I have yet to get noise from my fridge other than the knock knock knock sound all the time..Must be the fridge guts,driveing me EFFING MAD!!

    That was not the built-in refrigerator, but a fully portable refrigerator/freezer. Could be plugged in 12V or to 120V with adapter.
