I am a heavy equipment mechanic in Alaska. I work in remote locations for months at a time, so I'm use to not being home. I have had my CDL for about 2 years. I've driven fuel trucks, adts' ,end dumps, and have a few hundred miles hauling bait.

I want to get into specialized flatbed and heavy hauling. Since I have little driving experience, I was wondering if anyone knew of any companies that could help me get the experience I need to get me into heavy hauls

have you tried asking the company you work for now... or even asking a heavy haul driver the few basics on where to start...
