You guys that say it won't show up are wrong. It will show up as an arrest on a background check. So it depends on the question the company asks. Some ask if you've ever been arrested, some ask if you have ever been convicted. I just took a quick look at Swift's application and they ask if you have ever been convicted. No need to mention since they don't ask. They may ask you about it after the background check though.
