2) I Make more money than he did at the same company in a year when I had 5 months off for medical leave

You know....what I really find funny is how Surfer Joe is constantly throwing out how we are are trolls or paid bloggers etc.
Fact: Con-way has an industry leading low turn over rate.
There's a reason why..........multiple reasons to be honest. Its not because they employ gestapo techniques to trap their drivers better than all the other "mega" carriers. (Just an FYI)
"Mega" is a term than can only loosely be used to describe us BTW. With 15% of the trucks on the road vs other "mega" companies I don't really consider us mega.
But back to the point.
Are surfer Joe and victor really just the only BRAVE people out there that have the fortitude to stand against Goliaths? Ummmmmmm, na!
If this company were even remotely as bad as they indicate don't you think that there would be a line of people waiting to weigh in with their "facts" and opinions? Think! I've heard plenty of horror stories from droves of people about other companies, but NEVER will I name them. Why? Quite simply because hatred and anger flow like water and are shared like vd's. My grand daddy told me when I was young that there are always 3 sides to a story. Yours, theirs, and the truth! Words of wisdom from a much smarter generation! Look at the posts from other FORMER Con-way drivers. Most stand by the company with nothing damning to really say......perhaps they are still being paid for their blogging efforts? That must be it!
Here's another wise nugget that a mentor dropped on me when I started in the restaurant industry 20 years ago. You cannot have a rational conversation with an irrational person! Truthfully this is why I dissapeared from this forum for so long. I refuse to let people like Joe have power over me! Negativity begets negativity. There is a big difference between talking about concerns and putting an organization on blast for irrational reasons. There's a big difference but its still a very easy line to cross.

 

Yes, regardless of moral fantasies and exceptional false ethics; it really is all about the money.
