Awesome numbers man! You know how go truck and are with a great company. No 100 hours weeks to make decent money and do it safely and comfortably.

If that were the case everyone would have to do 20 mph at night because of lack of visibility. Your argument is completely absurd.

Oh and by the way, this is the definition of a DOT REPORTABLE ACCIDENT:

Now please stop talking out of your arse.

Yeah, I'd like to see those big commission checks, yessiree. I bet they're 'powerful big checks' like Bill Monroe described to an NPR interviewer (Terry Gross: Fresh Air??) about Elvis recording 'Blue Moon of Kentucky' and helped launch both of them. (Elvis a little further... )

As for whining, you crybaby constantly about other drivers, how you win over the company with your big, irresistable smile. One hand on the steering wheel and the other holding the left door shut. Funnee. Hoakie, hoakie, hoakie.

Okie-dokie?? I'm leaving Philly for P-burg now. (I thought! It's actually Bridgeport, OH. They just call it West Pitt. Ha-ha. : 0)

BTW, our term for pleasers was 'company guy' and it wasn't a compliment. Then, again, Nina Simone said Louis Armstrong "tom's from the heart." Not exactly meant as a compliment either. (Also an NPR interview... )

Care to explain how I would get a commission check? Or is this another one of your pat a cake games trying to steer away from the fact that you failed here.

100 hour week give me a break that's a over statement. I may work 40-50 hours a week making good money not big money but good money. $700 a week after taxes. It's about keeping your nose clean and being safe.

Do the math: For the most part, 14 hour days (on duty is on duty, driving or not) X 7 days a week = 98 hours a week.
    Average pay = $600 a week.
Hourly pay = $6.12 per hour.
    That's the facts, ma'am.
And since you're one of the few to be making "good" money, you're really moving up in the world at $7.14 bucks an hour.
    Hey, that's almost minimum wage!
Don't blow it all on that excellent packaged and processed nutrition available in the bargain bin section tonight at Flying J.

You know I laugh at people like you. I said "AFTER TAXES" not before taxes and deductions. I count actual hours worked.

Oh, AFTER TAXES. Now there's a big difference.
Looks like you're actually making minimum wage, then. And every hour on duty is an actual hour worked. Period.
    You keep on laughing now....

I disagree with you on that. I count hours that I was on duty, driving and performing truck related duty's. The 14 hours that you are referencing is when you have to shut down. Technically you don't work all 14 hours if you do you are only working 70 hours a week which comes up to 5 days a week. Any more then that is a DOT violation. So if you want to get in a bit deeper I was making $10 a hour after taxes.
