You need a better signature. The left lane will never rust... too many rolling road blocks jammin up the flow of traffic...:biggrin_2554:

If schneider is hiring I'd recommend them til you get the year. They treat you well and run you.

Company wise, I don't know. School wise, I highly recommend AIT Las Vegas. It's the school I am attending and it's VERY good. It's the only DOT certified one in Nevada as far as I am aware.

KNIGHT is right next door to our school. I don't know if they're taking students at the moment, though. I know Werner, Swift, and Covenant, are hiring students out of AIT. I hear rumors from the faculty that PRIME and GTS might be recruiting out of AIT shortly, to.

schneider is not hiring at the moment (without experience) Im starting with central on the 2nd and am fairly happy with that decision so far. I will keep a progress post at the central truck stop. If I had the $ I would probably have gone with watkins shepard in montana. Due to too many loan defaults they no longer finance and its $5k up front, But, read up on them and you will find nothing but positive posts/experiences. Good luck to ya man!

I think tscottme said it best. Try a vocational school or community collage. If you have a company pay for your school it will be hard to make money. They will charge alot more plus intrest. I know swift has a terminal in Salt Lake. I started out with them and it wasn't to bad. I talked to a Andrus driver a while back and he said he really liked it there. It sounds like you have some time so keep checking the good and bad companies threads on this site. And good luck
