Wanting to Thank Truckers

    Great post. I know from working in the transportation industry that truckers are truly the most professional and even-tempered drivers on the road . . . They have to be!
    .
    Moreover, almost all our goods that we buy or sell are driven the last 500 or 15 miles by truckers . . . Often through ridiculous congestion and cars that have no idea what a truck can and can't do safely.
    .
    In my work with ports and terminals and railroad companies, I regularly suggest that good trucking connections, for those last 500 to 15 miles, is usually worth a lot more than what they are paying.
