To anyone thinking about working for Central.
I thought it was a great company I worked hard above and beyond the required dutys. (never anything illegal, just drove harded and didnt take meals), when they started messing with me and many others we desided to tell them we deserved better treatment (my take home went form $500.00-$1000.00 a week to $200.00). All of a sudden we got our logs/trucks/reciepts an whatever checked as soon as they found anything no matter how minor they got fired. for me they put on my DAC that I didn't report an accident which wasn't true I did, but I didn't report it properly( it was unintentional,I'm just not good with that sorta thing). They told me I was terminated for the accident. Because my Dac states I didn't report an accident no one wants to hire me. I am trying to clear it up but ity looks like court is my only chance.
A friend of mine that still works for them said about another 1000 drivers are getting ready to quit.

Good luck, with today's high fuel prices, it wouldn't surprise me one bit that companies will go to the lengths they do to trim their work force..

Depends on the part of NorCal you live too. After I got hurt driving for them, they did everything they could to try to make me quit, then never called me back after it was OK for me to roll.

"Why did we even hire you? We never have any loads near there"

I've been waiting for this post from you for many a month, Sad. It's too bad the inevitable happened, but at least you made it work there for a little while.

Best of luck to you in the future, brother. I'd look into a new line of work and leave trucking in the dust.
