Warning-My Company is Being Scammed

Hello everyone my name is Ron. I am the owner of GTI Transport LLC out of San Diego, California. I am sorry that my introduction isn't on a happier note but I have to tell you what is going on. I wanted to let you all know to please be aware of anyone posing as GTI Transport LLC out of San Diego, CA, as I am being scammed BIGTIME. Starting early last week, I began receiving calls from several freight companies varifying new carrier apps. I quickly caught on and realized that someone is posing as my company with doctored insurance paperwork, email accounts and burner phones. The guy is calling himself either Rick Smith, Mark Smith, and yes, even Jack Daniels. There is also a lady named Laura making deals too. The following are phone numbers that the scammers are using starting with the most recent: (619) 227-0078, (323) 377-5040, (325) 518-5623, and (325) 518-5753. They are answering the last number as my insurance company--that is how bad this is. So far, 3-loads have been given out with thousands of dollars paid from the brokers in order to recover it. What they are doing is re-brokering the load to other carriers asking for fuel advances after the load has been picked up. They are keeping that money (nothing to the driver) and re-routing the truck until a ransom is paid. Most of the loads they were after were either produce, I.e., cherries, potatoes and celery along with one case of miscellaneous plastic goods. They were successful in obtaining two produce loads and one load of 801 pairs of Timberland shoes that they are not giving back. The other two were recovered after paying thousands to get them back. As for me, I am a car hauler. I was using a 2006 Freightliner Columbia tractor with a car hauler trailer. I just sold the trailer and up-dated Safer but I am still receiving calls from various companies to varify new carrier apps without reading my safer profile carefully. The scammers are using Internet Truckstop, DAT360 and every other one out there, I'm sure. I would appreciate any advice you may have along with any leads that could lead to these guys getting caught. The FMCSA, California CHP and FBI are after these guys.
