That is correct. The only result from your warning will be listed on your PSP report if you decided to change companies your new employer(with your permission) would be able to look and see you have received a single warning for log book not current.
warning or ticket?

Or you could (just a simple suggestion here) oh I don't know maybe check the source of the program
http://csa.fmcsa.dot.gov/FAQs.aspx
To clarify quit checking third party sources for information or phony #### scores. No law enforcement officer is pulling a dsms as you go down the road deciding if you pose a risk. Not one state DMV (as of yet but it is a change I would support) gives a fig newton about your PSP or DSMS or any made up point score.
Feel free to point to the regulation, law, or government guidance stating I am wrong. No third party sources do not count.Last edited: Oct 8, 2011

They do go against the Company. But, we got a notification from our insurance company about pulling the PSP on a driver to determine if he was employable. So in reality, it does go into a database that gives an employer another system to check (besides DAC, and we all know that's just so accurate).
So in essence, the driver does have a score, under CSA 2010.... go figure.shredfit1 and 07-379Pete Thank this. -
so your saying you just jump out the bunk without doing a pretrip or look at logbook after your break, thats not good, thats first thing i grab is my log book when i get up or after a break, too me that was my second wife and i was treat her very nice
or she would not pay me or worst a big fine at the scales, we just too be more carefull, not sure how this e-logs yet, that be a new one for me when i go back out,

That may soon change. They did record driver data, and the current trucker news article states that they are considering making 'driver' data public domain for individuals.
Hey, it IS about 'SAFETY' ... -
Moreover, these warnings cannot be contested via the law... and it's why some drivers are telling the DOT.... Just write me a ticket. -
Every post I see from someone that pulled theirs it is just a list of their inspections and then they go find the points and start making their own determination. If there is a points assignment where is the threshold? Who set it? I know the FMCSA made a determination of what violations would transfer to a PSP but have not seen or read anywhere that there is an assigned value to the driver, or that it concludes some score as the SMS does for a carrier. Yes I also know alot of companies are trying to make money by fabricating a driver score. The FAQ patently deniees any such program or company.
But yes a new employer( and by proxy their insurance company) can gain acceIss to your record. -
Well from the sounds of things there still a lot about csa that no one understands. The faq websites do explain a lot. Seems like if insurance wants to see your psp report, there looking for more serious moving violations, or a pattern of violations, not just one here or there. I know there are drivers out there with no tickets or warnings, as well as great drivers that have tickets are warnings. Any driver can get a dot officer that's having a bad dat, and I'm sure that's taken into account. Bottom line, run safe.
