Trying to figure out what the back and forth is like on a load board. When I come across a load I like, I call the broker. What happens next?
What happens when you respond to a load board posting? What does the broker require from you and what do you need from the broker to get the load secured? I need to sign a broker-Carrier agreement and send proof of insurance. Anything else? Is the next step just receiving the load agreement and rate confirmation? A step by step is really what I'm interested in.
