I was wondering where the state of illinois stood on warning tickets. I know if you receve a citation you have to retake your dmv tests at the time of renewal, but I dont know if the same applies for warning tickets. I have receved three warnings over the last three years. one for overweight on an axel, one for an chaffed brake hose, and another for disobey of traffic control device (turned on a seasonal weight limit road and didnt know it). So my question is will i have to retake my tests at renewal time or am i all good? thanks for the help
warning ticket implications

Thanks for the informative post thats alot of help. I pull hoppers the overweight was in the fall loading out of the field almost impossible to judge axel weights without scales. The seasonal weight limit road was a backroad that again was hauling for a farmer and simply did not see the old rusty sighn. As for the chaffed hose ya thats my falut for not crawling under the truck and looking for a hose chaffed on another hose. get real pattyjwstar2003 and Dark_Majesty_06 Thank this.

Warnings are warnings not citations. You won't see them on an MVR. On your company's CSA and your personal PSP however a warning is just as good (bad) as a citation. When I look at a PSP report (record of roadside inspections) it makes no distinction between them so try not to get warnings either if you can keep from it.asphalt-cowboy Thanks this.
