No one likes giant needles except the person holding them.

    Your warranty doesn't cover towing?

I thought that was a brand new truck?

The warranty only covers a tow to the closet dealer. I drove the truck to that dealer b4 it stopped running. (Larado freightliner) they wouldn't even look at the truck and said it would probably be 7 days before they would.

Figuring I'd sit there a minimum of 2 weeks, the next best option was to either get it to our terminal or to a dealer with less wait time.

Unfortunately, I made it about 40 miles bobtail, b4 the pump went out. Meaning warranty wanted to tow me back to the same dealer that wouldn't even look at the truck. I ended up paying $1,2k to get the truck towed to San Antonio because they could get the truck in faster and doesn't take long to lose $1,2k sitting a extra week. Then it was another $860 for a hotel.

Dealing with the Aholes in Larado I suspect I'd still be there sitting right now so maybe my elbow wouldn't hurt so much..

Edit I guess I should have said $2000 oil change, I was thinking the emergency room will probably cost me another $1k hence the $3k oil change... lol..

One thing you guys and gals might want to know. Once you catch a particular strain of cold, you will never get that strain again. While you're sick your body will develop antibodies to kill it. They will remain in your system for your lifetime and so you will never catch that particular strain of cold ever again.

I don't know about ya'll but I find that fascinating.

Appears I contracted some sort of infection from the Pilot in Billings, MT. Was wearing my shower shoes, and never touched the ground. I swear to God this trucking business is out to kill me.

If you're that "prone" to picking up viruses, I sincerely hope you avoid the casinos, and the restrooms.

I’ve never had something like that. I get sick maybe once a year. I’m assuming someone didn’t clean things up after the previous driver who was not so clean himself, and my luck is terrible.

Pilot/Flying J's official policy is to clean shower room with used towels. Just imagine the ### boils and nasty #### the guy before you wiped that towel on. I'm sure most of them spray the disinfectant on floor and toilet before wiping them with the towels, and than properly wash/disinfect towels before reuse. Yeah right.... I try to never pass the few tuckstops where I know they do a good job of cleaning.

Hey man I have psoriasis also, runs on my moms side of the family. You know stress can really bring it on. I've noticed when I'm stressed out ill get a new spot most of the time

I've done a bit of reading on it and they say gluten can cause flare ups. I'm trying to switch to gluten free diet to see if it really works
