The penalties are different in Indiana compared to Georgia. You can’t compare the two.
Indiana used to be more relaxed but in recent years they’ve been cracking down-HARD on truck drivers. They’re getting fed up with truck drivers tearing up stuff and causing wrecks and injuring/killing people-especially in construction zones,and as such they’re increasing fines and other penalties as well. Says the person who thinks a plea deal will get a driver out of reckless homicide charge.

You need to look at the charges and penalties of each respective state!
