How did they get your info? Go to Google Map and look up their address on street view.

From tenstreet or zip recruter is my guess. I get lots of cold calls. First time a broker tried to hire me.

The answer to ALL COLD CALLS is NO. It could be a bad company, a scam, or worse. It's not your job to prove them right or wrong. Liars can make ANYTHING sound good. I don't know of any legitimate companies or brokers cold calling drivers to offer jobs. Block their number.

If you are expecting calls then I would have the caller tell me the legal name of the business & address & phone number, DOT number. Then look up the company on SAFER, like you posted, and also do a web search for the Company name, address, web site, and see if the phone numbers & addresses match. Contact the company at the phone number you got from the web search or DOT/SAFER search.

I get at least one cold call per month. I let all unknown callers go to voicemail. This one being a broker threw me. The number that called (702) and the number from their website are definitely different. I have yet to find a reason to call any of them back.

I was once contacted by a broker from DAT that offered loads for 3 days. Broker was factorable and factoring company confirmed that they’re legit. So we did few loads for the broker. Before accepting the offer make sure your factoring company works with them and they’re not some Hindus trying to pull a quick one.

Lot of scams going on. I take it, you’re a Company Driver. My guess is they think you’re an O/O. Could be a Legit new Authority with no history. I doubt it. More likely someone impersonating them, or they themselves are up to no good. Double Brokering, collecting, not paying.

Correct not an O/O and nothing in my resume/profiles would lead anyone to believe that. Unless they don't grasp plain English. The whole thing is just different that I have encountered thus far. When I get a moment, I'll look at their website. But I expect nothing.
