this morning there was an owner/op who left his idling truck parked at the fuel island. it was there while I fueled and then pulled forward and ran inside he was talking, and in the time it took me to urinate and find food he was still yapping about something and the girl at the register didn't want to hear what he said, then he talked about his $9000 transmission job he got a few weeks ago. it must not have been that good if you can't pull forward

He was yappin' about how everyone on welfare should starve so they die off (a different topic for a different page) and how the government is going to use Ebola as a weapon against its own people (again, different topic for a different page)

he left (finally) and so I caught up my logs and ate breakfast he was still sitting in his idling truck at the fuel Island, he was there when I finally left

I park in the fuel island to shower and play with my lady friends in that particular town and tough nuts if you get stuck there. Should have gotten there earlier.

But seriously I've noticed they're asking if you're parked a lot more when you request a shower.

I was in Dallas and stopped at the Pilot to run in and grab some food and there were two tankers sitting in the fuel island so I just pulled through an open and ran grabbed some food. Then ran over to the Blue beacon to washout and then made it back to the Pilot an hour later and the two tankers were still sitting in the fuel island.

Yep and they probably were still there another 15 minutes after I had backed into a parking spot. Pulled in behind a truck in Santa Nella, CA and I fueled got my receipt and some food and he was still there but there was enough room that I could squeeze out and as I passed his cab the guy or gal had their curtains wrapped around the windows so I guess it was nap time.

this is probably a different story but i've broken down at the line before, Thank God it was at 230 in the morning so I just blocked off the pump and apologized to the manager. it took 6 hours for the TA truck to show up, even though the TA was across the street. The company really made me mad that weekend but that's a different story for a different post
