I have a load coming up going to various drops inside the beltway, I seem to remember a 53' inside D.C. as taboo? Still the case?

    Thanks Stan

No it should be but its not. Had restrictions after 911 but it's long been lifted. Just carried a load that delivered almost next to the capital a few weeks ago. Best to go in at night and get out way before sun up if you can

Yeah, no go on that load is a three way split mostly around the Connecticut, NW Military and Nebraska ave. areas so NW from the capital. All must drop between 9am and 3pm.

Thats up almost into Bethesda/Chevy Chase. Traffic will be the biggest obstacle. 90% of DC's elected officials live in that area between Potomac, Cabin John and Bethesda. Big money with me me me attitudes.

I grew up in that area,. worse drivers than NYC in my opinion.
