Waaay back in 1989 I attended a 8 week truck driving course at Washington Holmes Community College in Chipley, FL.
It was a excellent course with instructors who were former truck drivers and they really cared that you learned the basics of truck driving. If you didn't learn you either flunked out or took the course again, you did not graduate just because you attended everyday.
If you live anywhere in the southeast I recommend this CC, the tuition was very affordable because it was (partially?) funded by the state.
Any alumni of WHCC here?
