    I am working for a company called Smartway Express which is just one of their names by the way. At first it was all ok but when it came time to get paid it never happened. ive bben there with this company for just over a month and have only recieved one pay check. they hold a week ok fine but its now going on the sixth week and still only recieved one paycheck which is supposed to be paid out every week. also i was told to take my truck to the yard because it will be safe and nothing will happen to it and i normally just take it home with me which i have over two acres of land and know nothing will happen to the truck, trailer, and/or anything else in that nature. So i took the truck to the yard and get a call the next day asking me if i have quit because the trucks empty. i left all my stuff inside the truck because they said it was very safe there and nothing will ever happen to anything in the yard. a long story short the truck was empty because the window got busted out as somebody broke in and they cleaned out the truck. then i was told that i will be reinversed and a report was filed for the incident so i was just waiting to be paid by payroll as well as by insurance or however they were going to do then find out that they aren't going to do anything to pay me back for my stolen stuff.. so just a heads up for this company..

    Is this Smartway out of Phoenix? Aka Royal Exp

    I guess these guys haven't changed a bit, have you seen their safer scores? Wow is all I can say.

    I still don't understand why drivers stick around of they havent been paid. It's simple: QUIT and go to the labor board, you will get your money rather than get in the hole deeper. This company has had issues for years and will most likely never change.

    My husband works for this company and is always had issues with them paying him, eighther late or as of now about 3 or more bounced employement checks. He has been with this co. for many years, and if its not one thing it's another. He is going to find a new job, he works his butt off and is pretty loyal to them but has had enough thank GoD!

    No they have not!! Pretty Bad that's for sure. I am going to report them to the labor board.

    My husbands been 3 weeks with them now and he went to get his first check and the straight out told him it would bounce and not even the issuing bank would cash it. Also they didn't even pay him for his first 2 loads he did! He needs another company bad!

    Why is he still there?He can't be worse off if he quit like he is now if this company isn't paying him.
