Self insured company, no pants or shoes on, pretty much automatically says which company without specifically naming it. Obvious to me anyway.

 

It's cheaper for Landstar to bogg the case down in red tape than it is to settle. They're counting on your pockets not being deep enough to sustain a long drawn out litigation process.

Your mistake was trying to be a " goodguy". This is business. You should have got Your insurance to fix Your truck, go back to work asap because there will be a long delay. They will try to bankrupt you with their delay tactics. It could litteraly be years before this is settled. They don't care about you, your expenses, your debt or your well being. Don't you see the predicament you are entering? It is going to tighten up for you financially.
