LOL. Talk about digging in, I had finished getting a load of bottom tools off my deck in the Texas panhandle last week. Before I headed out I took advantage of the port-a-potty close to the cattle guard near the entrance to the oil rig pad. It was a 15% grade to climb up to the cattle guard.

As I am "taking care of business" I hear two kitty cat powered trucks climbing the hill. The first truck SCREAMS over the cattle guard, doing untold damage to the truck and the cattle guard with the 1' deep troughs on either side.

The second truck was laboring. Dropping rpm's rapidly. I heard him floor it instead of down shift. That truck sounded like a 10 ton bull just let out of the gate at a rodeo. He must have been hopping hard when his steer tires hit the cattle guard and threatening to stall out while lugging it, because that potty seat I was on was shaking.

Yep. Those washboards on steep hills are from drivers that think flooring it is the right thing to do. It isn't.

Here's a video showing a trucker attempting a steep dirt hill. Note how he starts hopping at the top of the hill on the first attempt. His speed and gear selection left him in low rpm's at the top and he floored it instead of feathering off the throttle to get to the flat. His second attempt he carried more speed and made it.

I have had to back off hills like that before. I have also learned to downshift on hills like that as necessary. The trick is DON'T FLOOR IT. That's why you see washboard gouges on steep hills on dirt, folks trying to floor it without practicing downshifting in those situations. I often top out hills well under 1000 rpm's, feathering the throttle, to prevent spinout. This is a technique that applies to drivers on paved roads when it is slick. Never floor it going up a grade.

I'm not even sure if the driver in the video had the power divider engaged, he may not have had one.

Well, I think the driver did a pretty good job of backing down that hill. That looked pretty tense. That was a crappy hill for a truck like that. Obviously, the PDL wasn't locked, or malfunctioning, as that truck should have walked right up that hill. The last tire was spinning, so something was not right. If he backed down that hill, he knew what he was doing.

Lady Driver has a small son who she is apparently raising when she gets to home. It is the most important thing in her life right now. Attractiveness generally is a gift of youth to make it easier to procreate the species.

I feel fortunate at a certain age where beauty is not used as a weapon against the young men too stupid to know the difference.

This reminds of the Aussie version of Ice road trucker called "Outback Trucker' where these fools go out in the never never driving Road trains through the water logged roads to deliver precious cargo to places that are in urgent need. And some how some female driver who just happens to look like a Miss Universe Model just happens to be driving road trains i mean come on lets get real folks but hey like they say sex does sell and the porn industry is living proof of that.

Lisa is NOT old. She might have a little pudge, a bit much on the ham now and then among other things. But old? HA... not her.

Seriously what is age? When maintained properly the human body has the ability to distribute what God gave you where it matters for however long you think to use it....
