Ok now that the wizards of the country has changed the dynamics of watching TV from analog to digital . Some drivers TVs will need a converter box. What have you done so you can watch TV on your down time?

I went down the local Best Buy and bought a 19" Dynex for 180 bucks. Paid another 15 for a 4 year geek squad warranty. Apparently they put it on sale for 150 shortly after I bought it, think I'll get the difference back when I get home and go down there. Anyways its 170 now and worth every penny.

Any 12 volt TVs out there that can pick up digital that are worth the money?

My analog still works in Canada and in bordering states close enough to pick up Canadian stations . Is anybody having luck with a digital tv in a truck ? I haven't tried because my digital tv at home won't pick up local stations with an antenna . A lot of people are complaining about it . The digital signal won't reach half as gar as the the analog broadcasting did . The best portable digital antenna I can find will only pick up stations with 20 miles .

It was time for a new set last fall, new one is ready and working well. Directv for the countless hours sitting around and 34 hour resets.

I'm satisfied w/ mine, but I have nothing to compare it to since it's the first tv I've had in a truck. I wouldn't get my hopes up to watch something in particular only to find it didn't come in. Bigger cities I get more channels. When I know I'm going to be on a dock for awhile I'll run a channel search and usually find something to watch to pass the time. I just have the rabbit ear antenna mounted on my mirror bracket, seems to work but nothing to compare to.

Trying to watch tv now sux! Any tiny bit of interference renders our tv useless since digital. Picture freezes up, gets those boxy little things all over the screen.....

It is a digital tv set, but just can't watch it.
I signed up for internet television, don't know how well that's going to work....I'll let ya'll know how good it is, if we ever get stopped long enough to get a good signal on my laptop!! LOL
