2001 utility and sometimes when I drive in the rain the floor will get damp and you can see the wood floor turn darker.. Eventually this is gunna cost me a load.
What kind of sealer could I put down on the floor? Clear Epoxy? I'd like to get a few more years out of the trailer.
I also thought about painting the floor black..which then I dont think you'd be able to notice the floor having some moisture.
Thanks

I would be more concerned about sealing the bottom. Maybe pressure wash it, put a heater under it for drying and under coat it. My car dealership freind would probably spray it right outside the door on a Saturday morning.
I normally only had to worry getting out of town company trailers loaded that had been rejected. Only worked from the top. Common leak spots are open gaps in boards, lower rails pushed away from the floor and between the steel floor plate and wood. It only takes a small opening in the right spot for the drives to put a lot of water in the trailer. Look for light inside with the doors closed but that is not 100%. -
