I have a 2000 6NZ just been inframed. Put a new manual temp guage in and it is reading 15 degrees hotter than the ECM is. Put a new sensor in for the ECM to makes sure it was correct and it is. Ordered another temp guage figuring the first one was bad, second guage is reading higher than the first, ECM shows all normal temps, heat guage agrees with ECM, oil temp is normal, trans temp is normal. Cable for the guage runs down drivers side of engine so it is not picking up exhaust manifold temp. Any ideas on this. :biggrin_25510:

Gauges are not usually calibrated, so a dozen same gauges will read differently.
If all 3 are more or less close, dont worry about it.
