Anyone know how many of the trucks have APUs (aux power unit) in them and how do they go about assigning trucks... do you grab one that's available that you want or do they tell you which one you get? Do they have refrigerators, etc.?

    thanks dance...
you get what they give you, not all the trucks have APUs, all of the new ones are comming with them. running the NE is no walk in the park by any means, you live in CT, so you understand the small streets, however, if you never drove a big truck, those small streets you see get even smaller.
are you considering comming to w/s???

S2B...i'm out in detroit right now...they got trucks out in Montana...so they rented us a van and drove last night from NJ to Detroit...since everyone BUT ME!!!...is from the Detroit area...they told us to stay in Detroit and just drive sunday night to Montana to get our trucks...so everyone is wit they family...and i just grabbed me a hotel...it was either that or go from NJ to Philly for a day or two basicly...then take a bus all the way from Philly to Montana...so i'm like maybe a mile away from the Taylor terminal...and i also seen and priced GPS's at a truck stop we stopped at...seen a PC Miler one for $299...and a World Nav or something for $399...so when i get my truck or whatever i'll grab one of them when i get the chance...

Minus, I know S2B is fond of his GPS. But you can get a cheaper one :D That will do the job for now.

You can get a Garmin 200w for under $200 at Wal-Mart. And if you take the time to read your map, and contact customers in advance. You will have no problems ;)

But, if you have the $$$. Go for it :D

Well i want something that won't take me to low bridges...and something that will basicly be designed for trucks...and plus i hate buying the same thing twice...so like you said...if i can afford something more expensive then i'll get it first...instead of getting something cheaper then wanting to upgrade a month or two later...
