Only changes I've seen so far are they sent out a message telling us to fuel at Pilot whenever possible because of some discounts. And the containers on our yard where they bring loads in from overseas are orange instead of JB Hunt. That's pretty much it.

On Friday, I saw a Schneider driver picking up paperwork from them outbound mailbox in Conover. Said he had a furniture load.

Conover has to give Shneider 4 loads/ week heading to the west coast. Schneider teams are taking them out. Supposedly, WS was late on a few west coast loads out of Conover and Schneider is "helping." -

So this thread is less than a month old and it would seem there are already some changes being made. The pet rider for those who don't already have them and Schneider teams pulling sticks out of Conover. That was always one my favorite runs. Did quite a lot of them to Spokane and then pulled tire loads to SFS.
All I can say is a I really loved running and working with WS and I sure hope things don't change too much for the current drivers. Best wishes everyone! -
I did see some Schneider vans on the yard today. They may be using Schneider loads to get Watkins guys back home for the weekend. Idk I haven't pulled anything but Watkins stuff

I've ran the same trip for the past year and a half mostly. I run furniture from Conover and usually have decent number of stops. I get home by Friday usually. I know my stops and the area pretty well. I always finish up ahead of schedule sometimes by 24 hours. If they change my trip, then I'm out. I really like Watkins. They've done me well since i've been there. I hope nothing changes, but I know it will. Seriously though, take my trip from me and i'm done.

I'd like to at least finish out this year with W/S so I'm in a better position cash-wise, but I've got enough to walk away tomorrow and not be worried. I always knew I'd need my F-U money some day. -
