Watkins-Shepard Acquired by Schneider

Might have but Penske doesn't allow us to take them anywhere else. If something goes wrong on the road with the truck we call Penske not Watkins. And Penske handles it. Plus we are home every weekend anyway and the trucks go to Penske so the service is kept up with and done before we even know it's needed. Watkins doesn't even know the mileage the trucks need servicing. Penske just does it.

 

Also most likely they had to add them because when we called our 800 number the Schneider guys that answer the phone kept telling us we were giving them invalid truck numbers because Watkins truck numbers were only 4 numbers. Then the whole Penske lease threw them for a loop. Cause our truck numbers are 6 numbers. Guess somebody dropped the ball on telling them about that or something lol

 

I certainly hope not. I attended W/S Orientation 8-22-16!!!!

No, if you are not brought in as an experienced driver you will be there for 10 full days 8-5.

I don't think you gotta worry about drivers being laid off. They are swamped with loads at my terminal right now.
