Yeah I went to conover. Hotel is Days Inn you get your own room, no sharing with someone else. Pretty much videos and driving. 8-5 daily. They teach u very well. And I feel like I was prepared when I left for what we do.

End of 2015. No nothing as far as I'm concerned. Where we get fuel and stuff like that but nothing else. I'm still doing the same thing I been doing and dealing with the same people. I think the major changes are gonna be the OTR and owner ops but idk when. Schneider wanted the LTL when the bought Watkins. They didn't need the truckload side. So I see the truckload being Schneider and the ltl staying Watkins because the furniture people know the Watkins name. So Schneider doesn't wanna mess with that. That's they way I see it anyway. But what do I know I'm just a truck driver lol

Looks like the other guy has answered your question. I am straight milage pay so can't give the examples he has.

In my case I run a whole lot more miles at my current carrier than my previous so even with less CPM I make quite a bit more.

    Middleagedrookie Thanks this.

No, just no. Can't arrive late, but also cannot arrive early.

    Not always.

To middleagedrookie, get them to send you an email confirming what type of route they are hiring you for, where your home terminal is and the minimum amount of days per month you will see it. If they won't send that email, you will have a better idea of what's going on.

This is what they sent me. Generic. I asked her to send me offer details in email. They can't or won't something like that- not the first recruiter to say that to me

About as specific as you'll probably get. Be aware that if you are making good time and are gonna be early to a Home Depot, you can't go to the store parking lot and wait. They go off GPS location for arrival, not when you press the button on peoplenet. So you gotta find some where close but not too close to wait for the scheduled arrival time.
Also, get your own GPS unit. And call the receiver to ask directions for best way for a semi to get to them.
    Good luck.

Even the best trucking companies are not predictable because there's too many variables on a day-to-day basis. Companies can only give a general overview of what you can expect daily or even hourly.

    49ersTrucker and Middleagedrookie Thank this.
