Screenshot_20230216_163101.jpg this one was from when the whole world was shutdown and fuel was $2.50/gal.
Screenshot_20230216_163658.jpg and this is recent with fuel at 4$/gal and hyper inflation. I wasnt worried but after looking at this comparison my palms a getting little sweaty

Buchanon had a flatbed load out of Norfolk, NE going to Alabama today... 46k paying $1.60 for flatbed. I musta clicked on it 10 times praying they would call me because of how good my mood was in. I was guaranteed to get hung up on, was gonna let them know how I felt...

It's one thing to offer a cheap load but another just to be flat out ignorant. Considering they have their own trucks, no way on earth are they running any of them at anywhere close to that uber hatchback rate.

EDIT I gotta include my fan club in this @jcrack08

Truckers do it to themselves. JB Hunt flatbed load Laredo to NC on DAT board. You can’t call but have to go into their app. Saw it paid pretty well, I put in a bid. It tells you how many people bid and what they bid. I saw it at $3,950. About 6 hours later and about 20 bids it was now $2136

Bound to happen there is 70% less loads then a year ago and 33% more trucks posted then a year ago. It's only going to get worse.
I pull refer as power only for tyson foods and its slowing down for us also. It's just gonna get worse as the market keeps going down.
Unfortunately the guys with there own numbers will have it harder as they have more expenses to cover compared to the one leased onto a carrier that pay a fraction of the expenses.

Tsk, tsk..it's an outrage I tell ya. You should let Buchanan know how you feel on Google, they hate those one star reviews.

Leased on guy told me today, he's going back to foodservice. The last $1500 mile rate from Dallas to Minneapolis was the proverbial straw. So, back to slinging cases, but home every night and not losing the shirt off your back to call yourself an o/o. The market does not care.
