Some of us AREN'T doing it. Luckily my truck is paid for and I'm pretty lean. I tell them all to go F@#* themselves. I've been sitting for 3 weeks and just doing stuff around the house and truck. Have you seen the Amazon load board? Disgraceful. I can't understand how people run for $1.80 a mile, putting up with the cold, icy roads, bonehead drivers and the constant money grabs by the "authorities". I'll wait it out.

    Millions?

If there are millions of you guys running for a $1
Then this is way worse than I thought

It’s only cut throat because guys at $1 are doing ALL of the cutting

    You think you’re making money
And maybe it’s better than McDonald’s??

But your numbers are way low once you factor in the time it took you to run the 120,000 or so miles I think you showed in a post??
    Then double social etc
No way I’d run for that but that’s just me and I won’t play in that sandbox

What's worse? Complaining about cheap rates or running dirt cheap rates?

    McDonald's? Show me a McDonald's worker making over 100k a year? I did 93k miles profit was $1.13 a mile and expenses where $1.17
    Profit was $130k
    Expenses $115k
    Total gross $245k
I'm not running for $1 mile but thanks?

Depends on how you look at it? What's worse having a repo on ur credit or sitting home.

Not acceptable. My truck would be setting in the yard with the key in the off position. And it’s paid for.

    #### I'll move my truck for $2.48 all day. I'm paid empty n loaded miles. No trailer fees or maintenance works great for me.

You put $93,000 in the bank after all expenses and taxes?
    And I didn’t say McDonald’s pays $100k
I said something like your $ is better than McDonald’s not by much once taxes and insurance is figured
Not saying McDonald’s would give all that. But your numbers would be ok in a company truck. Not owner
