I run west and nw most, but I see more middle eastern than anything. And probably 40%ish of those are trucks out of BC

 

They need to crack down on the Carriers that knowingly hire these illegals. Shut them down.

I think the term overrun is extreme. I saw somewhere not long ago that illegal immigrants make up around 5 percent of the entire labor force. I don't think I would call that being overran. I think there are a lot of narratives being created that has used this "issue" (or lack there of in my opinion)as a means to create a lot of false hope and promises. I feel there's going to be a letdown by many truckers because I fail to see how deporting such a small percentage of drivers is going to suddenly vault trucking to whatever many of you think its supposed to be. If anything, the industry is overrun with drivers in general, and it still will be even if every foreigner gets deported. It's not going to suddenly boost the spot market to 5 bucks a mile.
