    I don't have customers, I don't do contracts.
    I don't trust brokers.
My business model is working 6-8 months
    per year anyway.
And trying to keep my overall expenses as low
    as possible.
Getting Obamacare insurance is also a big deal.

    No it's not.
    70 miles for $900
    Or 45 miles for $1000
Some examples I've done. Nothing spectacular but is better than killing while day for $2 a mile and burning half your revenue in fuel.

Especially if you do two short loads a day then you're golden on little fuel costs.

I better just shut up because now everybody will be searching to steal my loads.

2 of these weekly is more believable in this market. Just a day ago you were writing you don't work right now.

I just started running these shorts loads a few days ago. They were good so they got me out of the house.
Those loads are out there but remember is flatbed and in cold areas.
I noticed the rates on short ones go up recently as soon as temperatures dropped.

I've avoided Minnesota for a very long time because was dead but looking around now have actually seen good rates.

Historically good areas for flatbed like Alabama have gone to crap.
Soo many flatbed drivers flock the warm areas in the winter.
I'd rather be cold than haul cheap freight.

And no it wasn't a day ago, it was Monday i said that.

I appreciate your insight as I had no idea.

Around 18 yrs ago was the last time I was west of Phoenix out in the desert and it was super desolate and the main attraction was watching fighter jets fly over.

It seems like times are ah changing. I wasn’t out there for business but the person I was visiting took me for miles of country desert driving.

    Quite the eye opener.

This plant is going in north of town where the 303 loop meets I-17. It’s huge. I don’t know what all this means for our industry because I’m ignorant when it comes to the process of manufacturing microchips, but it seems to me that Phoenix could become a major shipping hub in the near future.

How does one "steal loads" from your video game playing?
