We have hit the floor with rates

Wendy's 15 an hour, one free meal. Can get paid out at end of shift.

 

Is that a partial. It’s only 12k#.

 

One up where iive is so hard up for staff its hireing at $17 an hour lol. But using your number 814 miles takes 12.5 hours at 65. Figueing 13 an hour thats about $162 before tax add another $24 for 2 meals and call it $186. Using my 6mpg....actully lets be really really gennerious and call it 9mpg for a really efficent truck and driver. Thats 90 gallons at an average cost of lets ve nice and say $5.50 is about $500 rounded up from 495. So that load without considering ANYTHING else you would make $250 at the $750 bid. You throw in the at least 2 hours of dock time to load and unload lumper fee if any wear and tear on the truck like ya know oil and tires. Deadhead from last load or slightly worse mileage....and suddenly mcdonalds pays more and you get to be home too.

 

Ok then yeah that’s garbage. Let it rot on the dock

 

i have seen one like this yesterday on JBH360 going from Memphis to Plainfield, IN... Full load and same rate.

 

Id go work for the walgreens with my degree. They have manager oositions open for $24 an hour. Or the scrap plant nearby hireing welders with heavy equipment experince at $28 i know the owner too and i have a standing offer for $31 if i run his yard dogs and cutter.

 

Maybe we should meet the driver at the dock, ya know, have a little tawk
