It's more than what I had. I was thrown in a truck and they said, "handle it, Roy".

4 wheelers [and truckers] are going to do stupid stuff in front of you. This is a given.

    Rest In Peace Driver...

... I have hauled more than a few loads that could have killed me.

The MOST IMPORTANT THING is to drive as if your life, and EVERYONE AROUND YOU, will get home safely today.

    That is the bottom line.

Load securement can only go so far. You MUST make SURE you NEVER have to get on the binders. THAT'S an absolute essential...at least in MY book.

I’ve got a $100 says the guy that cut him off lawyer will argue that the fault lies with improper load securement. Not his client.

I bet it didn’t have mats in it. The curve wasn’t that sharp imo

There are definitely exceptions. Management and their fellow drivers need to report the ones who are a danger to the road. I drive mostly in the northeast and these truckers are 12 inches off the bumper of the car/truck in front of them at 60mph or faster. All I can think is " what idiot hired this guy".

Some day 4 wheelers will have to be held equally accountable as truck drivers

    Bud A., mjd4277 and Lepton1 Thank this.
