I would guess that the pay is great. To get me to go up there as a driver I would need to be paid about $7,500 an hour.

Delivered some cranes to the Tumbler Ridge wind farm in the middle of a storm that dumped an absolutely stupid amount of snow. Super-B loads, so we had to split them on the highway and take them up one at a time. It was... interesting. Although the worst part was probably getting stuck in the Beaverlodge A&W parking lot.
I stayed up there overnight all alone after delivering though. I had both bunk and engine heaters so staying up there was incredibly peaceful. Snow above the steps in the morning.MartinFromBC and Nothereoften Thank this. -
