Florida to Texas is always a cheap lane. Never pays anything. There's a reason for that, but it doesn't have anything to do with brokers stealing 40% of the rate.

Amen brother! Half these “owner operators” have no clue on their numbers.

The free market is always the best way… the free market, always corrects itself in cycles and therefore that’s the way it needs to stay… Just like if you go into retail store if the store is selling something that you want but the price is not what you want..what do you want you don’t buy it you go somewhere else, so if a broker is not offering a load that meets your minimum standards and qualifications then you find another one that will… It’s that simple

You could just nut up and figure out where you've done wrong, where you can do better, and accept that all that goes wrong is our own fault.

Woe is me usually never pans out.

A phone # and email would be great too. And if ya don't mind, a good word

Why though? They don't have nearly the capital investment that truckers do. What broker needs days and $100k worth of equipment to do a single job?

They don’t? They float plenty of drivers on quick pay while waiting 30/60/90 days for their money to come in. That right there seems like sizable overhead to me, much more than a guy with a truck.

Siinman, Oxbow, AModelCat and 3 others Thank this.
