WE NEED TO HIGHLIGHT ALL‐ THE BAD COMPANIES

That happens a lot.

 

There are no bad companies, only companies that don't fit certain people.

Now, that said...are there companies I think SUCK? Yeah. But I've certainly met people wearing their hats and jackets around, and they couldn't be happier. So there must be redeeming qualities...or convincing Kool Aid.

 

The problem with most of these butt-hurt drivers is that after listening to them, it seems more likely that they themselves are the problem

Once in awhile we get honest critique of a company in a negative light, and it sound reasonable and honest. Those reports are appreciated, but the majority are just comical.

 

Absolutely. Did ABF do a number on me and make me miserable? You bet. But they're also a fantastic career for most drivers.

Many a sleepless night while I was in the early going at my new company, wondering if I made the right move.

 

And so will 95% of the nation's freight.

 

come on man, you spoiled the ending. I followed every single post to see how it turns out but man this sucks.

 

I think the bad company section is useful if you can spot a pattern with a company. I worked at a company (non truck driver) for 8 years. If you ask the people that left and continue to work there what the biggest issues are they will all say the same thing.

If this isn't sarcasm, your situational awareness is on par with those individuals that park on the shoulder RIGHT NEXT to a ramp...next to a truck stop. And maybe those folks that pull up, AAAALMOST far enough so the guy behind can fuel...but not quite. Or maybe those drivers that instead parking further back or forward (depending on the layout) than the truck to the left or right in angled parking...they line up their mirrors, so the line curves off to the middle of the aisle.
