We need to process a truck title we need some help

Why would you not do this in the state where the owner resides ?

 

Agency titles and tags are only offered by 3 states I know of (ME, OK, and maybe OR), and only for trailers. Trucks have to be titled where you have a verifiable, physical terminal address. If that's your home, then that's where you have to title it. Seems when what you have has an engine built in, powering it down the road, they get picky about that. It's important for them to get every tax dollar they can out of their residents.

 

So Maine doesn’t issue titles for trucks ?

I find that quite odd .
Do the residents of Maine have their vehicles titled in other states instead ?

 

You have to title your vehicle in the state you either live in or you valve a physical address terminal in. I. E. LIVE IN GEORGIA and a terminal in Florida you can title in either state but not in any other[

 

Maine issues truck titles only to Maine-based trucks, because IRP.

Agencies can get titles and registrations for out of state trailers. The OP had done that already, and posted here when the agency refused to do a truck title.
