As severe weather is impartial to who and where we are, what is a good
weather radio for national coverage? Thanks

any weather radio with 7 national noaa channels will do. I personally like the ones that have the beep beep beep beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepppppppppppppppp! when a weather alert goes out.

They are so much fun when you forget to turn them off and they go off in the middle of the night when you are sleeping or you are running across the back of beyond Nevada at 2 am in complete silence and it goes off and you are trying to figure out how to repair the hole in the roof of the cab and get your head back in.:biggrin_25523::biggrin_25523:

I have a uniden with the weather channels I use for local weather and for the big picture I have Sirius with two weather channels.
