Webasto Airtop 2000 STC Light on but not working?

Hi, maybe someone here has an idea what might be going on. So I have an Airtop 2000 STC that just died in the middle of the night. When I turn the knob, the light lights on but nothing happens after that.

There's no diagnostic lights blinking or any activity whatsoever. I've tried resetting it but pulling the fuse and waiting for a while but that doesn't help.

Anyone have any advice?

EDIT: nevermind please ignore the above, or delete it if possible. My mechanic is an id*ot

 

The mechanic who worked on my van last week hadn't tightened the battery terminals which the Webasto used. After tightening them everything started working perfectly fine.

I'm not too sure why the light stayed on the whole time when I turned Webasto on, but my best guess is the connection was too intermittent for it to fully start up.
