I've seen websites like this but they're all pretty much useless some lady keeps calling me from some loadboard that brings shippers and recievers together and it's about as worthless as worthless gets. Your best be is to actually call some of the local companies in your area and ask if they're in need of a truck or know of any of their customers that could use a truck. Emails are good too sometimes it's easier to email as opposed to calling can't count the number of times I've called shippers/receivers and got the "the person you need to talk to won't be back till tomorrow". But using a load board like your talking about is a waste be like using uship as far as I'm concerned. Might not work out to well at first for you I've personally been told after following up with one company "I have you in my file what we'll do is when a customer may need a truck we'll put them in contact with you and you can negotiate." But that's better than a flat out "We're not interested". Just make sure if you're pulling for customers that the brokers know that your customers are YOUR customers and you were pulling for those customers before you signed with the broker it makes it easier on you and the broker.
