I did that once. It was about 3 am, and the electronic sign was out, so I kept going and as soon as I passed the eastbound Iuka scale, I seen the officer waving his arms, so I pulled over immediately. Here he comes out the scale house, pulls up behind me and escorted me back to the scale house and told me that it could ve cost several hundred dollars and points blowing by the scales. Thankfully, he let me go without either one

The funniest moment at a scale was on I 20 in Texas near Odessa. I got pulled in and received a Level 1. While I getting my Level 1 done, here comes James R Smith trucking taking the service road behind the weigh station. One of the other DOT officers walked over to the service road, stop the driver and ask what did he think he was doing? He took the driver s permit book, bills, and log, made him go down the road, turn around head back east to next exit and come into weigh station and he d have him a 500.00 ticket waiting.
Big_D409 Thanks this. -
Lol i did that when I was with my trainer.
