It does not affect your drivers license at all. No points or anything. You’re good.
It does go onto your psp record and will raise your carriers csa score. Basically their safety score. So you may get in a little hot water with the boss, but as long as you don’t make a habit of it, you’ll be just fine.
P.S. only the H.O.S. Violation will affect their csa score. Weight violations don’t hold any bearing on it.
Weigh station violation, but no citation.

It doesn't matter about the overweight and the oos, I am more concern about your husband being so tired that he is a possible danger.
Diesel Dave and Bean Jr. Thank this. -

It sounds like you are a new driver. How much experience does your husband have?
Because this should not have happened at all. Any load over a certain weight should have been scaled by the driver that picked up the load, which was your husband from the sound of it.
Are you two trying to run yourselves so hard that you become unsafe?Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
The officer also said anything over 20000- 25000 should be weighed. I was the initial pick up. It was supposed to be my second drive of the trip, and the end of his 1st. This oos is sure to help catch up on some rest, so it was kind of a blessing. I was concerned about my license and me being employable in the future since I am just starting, although he assured me I would be ok. I gave up my career to join him, so there's alot at stake.
