Yes, the trucks since 2018 and newer all have inverters & fridges. I also have a microwave. We don't have an APU, but are allowed to idle unlimited amount of time. The $.40 a mile is for a newbie straight out of school. No experience.

Snow Hater was only with FFE for 6months. He did his training with them. Left before he got his 6mo raise. He also said in another post his trainers truck had a fridge and I pointed out to him that if it had a fridge it had an inverter.

My new truck has a refrigerator, microwave, inverter.

The only reason the inverter is there is because I had a partner on my truck that had to use a cpap.

I read somewhere that jb has over 20,000 trailers but the dreaded quest for an empty is an ongoing saga.

As I've said before, FFE is a good starter company to get your CDL and a little experience. But, the so called raises amount to a penny/mile. There were no bonuses when I was there. I left to make a dime more/mile at S&S Transport. The medical plan is better and no problem getting miles. I'm known by name, not my truck #. It's been a very good choice for me.

Frozen Food Express (FFE) announced Monday that linehaul driver pay will increase significantly beginning in early January.

The Dallas-based company will increase pay for new linehaul solo company drivers by 25%, with some experienced drivers earning up to 60 cents per mile in base pay. Linehaul pay for the company’s team drivers will increase 20%.

That would put a newbie with no experience pay at $.50 a mile. Then a raise @ 6 months, and @ 1 year.

The question now is whether or not there will be miles for the drivers. It's good news regardless.

Dude, I have never had problems getting miles. During the 1st 6 months you are at the bottom of the ladder. That means the lowest miles.

Even when I was a newbie if linehaul didn't have a load for me, I helped out local and regional.

We get it. You didn't like FFE. Okay, now move on. FFE wasn't a good fit for you. That doesn't mean it is a bad company.

Not every company is going to fit every person.

I am glad you like your new company. Now quit lying about FFE. You said their trucks didn't have a fridges and inverters. When in another post you admitted your trainers newer truck did, but not your older one that was being phased out

Yep, you're a cheerleader for FFE, we get it. You think they do no wrong. But, just a friendly word of advice, be very careful when accusing others of lying. What I shared about how the trucks are equipped came from the shop foreman/Mgr in Dallas. Check with them and then come back and apologize if you have the character to do so.

I have never said they can't do no wrong. Every company has its good points and bad.

I have said all the new trucks 2018 and newer come with fridge and inverters. They bought them that way from Freightliner.

I have met and talked with Rich the shop manager in Dallas. He was the one who authorized my 2015 truck to get an inverter installed.

I called you a liar about the trucks. You said the trucks didn't have fridges, but in April you said your trainers did.

You sound like a bitter ex wife.
