We've completely forgot about the drop axles!

    What drop axles?

Not to mention the truck is in the yard. I never put my drops down until it was enforceable.

Im recusing myself from the 20 foot container fight.

Im sort of very stupid sometimes pounding the table on 40 foot weights when two of the 20 footers are in my face with those beautiful B train.

Im set in my ways, no one gets to tell me what I know or don't know. I can easily demonstrate or disprove that information to the whole world without needing a boy scout to hold me crossing the highway.

Why do I do this? All I was doing was pointing out that you told him to drop his axles without knowing the weight of the containers, if the were empty containers he wouldn't need the axles down now would he?

You'd be better off making two trips. Any amount of special equipment to get it behind one truck won't be worth the money (either over-weight permits or multi-axle setup) or time.

I've never pulled a container (on purpose), but I repo'd a bunch of container chassis that had locks for 1-40' or 2-20', 5 axles (2 lifts). Front lift was just behind the landing gear. I'm not very smart, but it seems like it could get a little squirrely with all the lifts down and a can full of couch cushions.

To the original question- I don't know you could make 70k here (105,500 state) even with a daycab.

Does not really matter, the point is mute. You have a divisible load and Texas is an 80k gross state. You need two trucks or one to make two trips.

If they started loading those things to 70K of Mr Bean's Memiors for example.. everyone else will want the laws adjusted so that they too wil carry the freight. B trains should take off and spread like wildfire across the USA when it's realized you cannot beat them and now you must buy a bunch to join them.

You could always stack one on top of the other, so they distribute the weight better. And weld them together so it's one piece. You're welcome.....
