Naaa, 100 pounds you can burn off with a few hours of driving anyway.
-
Not all states recognize apu weight.
You can also slide your 5th. Wheel forward. You DON'T need to maintain 12k. If you have a 13 steer axle. You CAN go up to that. I drove around with 12.8 on full tanks. -

As long as it was under gross I'd run it. You won't be 100 over for very long running down the road at 7-9 mpg.
-
You are a outlaw 12 1/2 lbs over on each tire.
Dave_in_AZ and Oxbow Thank this. -
Don't go over a scale
-
Your good as long as your not in California. Will be burned off in 45 minuets.
-
100 - 300 lbs over,.. I would not even sweat it.
While it is at the discretion of the scale house. If they pull you in and hassle you over it,..tell them you just fueled and didnt realize it would put you over on that axle. Play dumb.
I've pulled onto a scale knowing I was 34,380 on my drives. Green light,.. have a nice day.

Express12$ Thanks this. -
That's like 1mph over the speed limit. Some states have statutory tolerances, others don't. LEO's always have discretion. They don't have to make every stop they could nor write every ticket they can. So hard telling but not likely for them to make an issue. The point is to prevent road damage. Without those laws people would trying to haul 100 tons of cargo down the road if they could get it moving.
Best in that circumstance is call dispatch. Actually send a qualcomm message since that documents it. If they tell you to roll require a message saying as much. They'll pay the fine for you then since the fine for telling to roll illegally is much, much higher like $12k.
